CONSERVATION ALABAMA REAFFIRMS
PITTMAN ENDORSEMENT IN SPECIAL ELECTION

Conservation Alabama, the state’s only lobbying organization for the environment, has reaffirmed its endorsement of Trip Pittman in the special election for State Senate District 32.

Conservation Alabama was the only statewide organization to endorse Pittman before the Republican primary in August. Our organization continued to back Pittman in the runoff, and helped propel him to victory over Randy McKinney in September. On October 16, Pittman faces Democrat A.J. Cooper in the general election, and Conservation Alabama again endorses Pittman for the seat.

“The people in Baldwin County are fortunate to have two strong conservation candidates on the ballot next week,” said Adam Snyder, executive director of Conservation Alabama. “Our board of directors believes in Trip Pittman and what he can do for Baldwin County on conservation issues in Montgomery, and we are behind him 100 percent on October 16.”
